Average item/plan price. A metric that is used to calculate the Average Item Value (AOV) for business trade and subscription business mailers.

This metric shows how much on average a single item costs that customers buy and then AOV = AIV×AIQ.

Or the average normalized subscription price of the service. The normalization is usually done on a monthly basis. For example, you have two plans Start and Pro, and both plans can be bought for a month or for a year, the price of Start for a month is 10€, for a year - 100€, Pro - 50€ for a month and 500€ for a year. Then the normalized price of the 4 plans will be 10€, 8.33€, 50€ and 41.66€ respectively.

Then you can use the formula AOV = SUM(AIS×AIV×ALT)/SUM(AIS×ALT).
