Decomposing the growth point into business processes

  • unit economics,
  • CPO notes,
  • cards

By finding a growth point in the business, we actually find the unit economics metric whose improvement has the greatest effect on the target at the lowest cost.

However, unit economics metrics are too superficial in showing which processes need to be improved. Therefore, we find this metric on the metrics tree, and look at which product metrics it is related to.

Studying these product metrics allows us to pinpoint the business process whose improvement will lead to the improvement of our growth point. Keep in mind that a unit economics metric may be linked to several product metrics, which in turn are linked to other product metrics.

In order to see the whole picture of connections we need a metrics tree.
